Program Description:

The NMDT Program is a 6 month paid educational program that introduces adult performers to the basics of directing adult film and other skills needed to produce film content. This program covers the role and responsibilities of the director in script development, pre-production, production, and post production. Performers learn to tell a story cinematically, use the camera as a tool, prepare a script analysis and engage in the casting and rehearsal process with actors.

Course Outline:

Month 1-2: Concept/Script Writing, Pre-production planning, Casting, and Budget Management
Month 3-6: Production Assistant , Director Training, Direct scene work

Participant Learning Outcome:

Participants will complete the training program with the basic knowledge to produce film content within the adult entertainment genre. They will learn script development, pre-production, production, and post production. Participants will also learn all the rules and regulations that need to be implemented when producing content, and partner with the production team on casting, creating, and maintaining budgets.

Program Expectations:

Participants will be expected to fully commit to the program through time and attendance, execution of assignments, and full commitment.
